International Symposium on
SUPERSYMMETRY, SUPERGRAVITY, AND SUPERSTRING
Seoul, Korea, June 23 (Wed) - 27 (Sun), 1999

This Symposium is a part of the symposium series started from 1982 for theoretical physics in Korea. For many years, it was held at the beautiful Sorak mountain resort. At one time it was held in Cheju island. The SSS-99 is the 18th symposium in this series, and with the completion of Sangsan Mathematical Science Building of Seoul National University, it will be held at this new building.

Participants from Asian countries can apply for financial support in the application form. For senior graduate students and post-docs in this region, a part of the local expense is supported.

Accommodation:

A housing form will be available at our website which can be sent by ordinary mail to Seoul National University, or by e-mail to the scientific secretary. The Hoam Faculty House(Bldg.#125-128 in the map section 1A), located in the campus, will be the main lodging for participants from outside Korea.

Transportation:

Details on transportation will also be provide later. Many airlines have services to Seoul airport (Kimpo): Asiana Airlines, Cathay-Pacific, Delta, Korean Airlines, Japan Airlines, Northwestern Airlines, Singapore Airlines, adn Thailand Airlines.

The cheapest way to reach Seoul National University is to take Subway Rt. No.5(Violet Line) at Kimpo International Airport and transfer to Rt. No.2(Green Line) at Yongdungpo-gu Office Station. There, go to South(Sadang and Chamsil direction)on Rt. No.2 to the 8th stop which is Seoul National University(SNU) Station. (Note that it is different from another similar name, Seoul National Education University). At SNU Station or at the next Stations(Naksongdae), you can take a taxi to Hoam Guest House of SNU. The taxi fare will be less than $1.50.
